Vehicle Overview

1968 Mercedes Benz Pagoda 280 SL

The Mercedes Benz W113 is a two-seat roadster/coupe, introduced at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show, and produced from 1963 through to 1971.  All models were equipped with an inline-six  cylinder engine with multi-port fuel injection. The bonnet, boot lid and door skins were made of aluminum. The 280 SL was introduced in December 1967.

This car had a complete exterior restoration done 6 years ago by well known Cape Town Classic Car Dealer Crossley & Webb.  The current owner who has owned the car for the last 5 years had a new custom built exhaust system fitted and new interior carpeting. The upholstery is still the original upholstery in the car.

This is a superb Right- hand example of the very sort after 280 SL automatic version. Besides the soft top this car has the original hard top roof.
